Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Buffalo for using Chartle — what the app is, what it is not, and how subscriptions work.

Last updated 15 August 2026Read the Privacy Policy

1. The agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and Buffalo Dijital Hizmetler A.Ş. ("Buffalo", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Türkiye, covering your use of the Chartle mobile application and chartleapp.com (together, "Chartle").

By downloading, opening or using Chartle you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app, and remove it from your device.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Chartle. If you are between 16 and 18, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

2. What Chartle is — and what it is not

Chartle teaches you to recognise chart patterns. It shows a real historical price chart, asks what happened next or what the shape is called, reveals the outcome, and explains the pattern behind it.

Chartle is an educational product. It is not investment advice, financial advice, a recommendation, a signal service, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything.

This is not a formality, so it is worth being exact about it:

  • Nothing in Chartle is a suggestion that you should trade, or that any particular instrument is worth buying or selling. We do not know your circumstances and we are not in a position to advise you.
  • The charts are historical. They are labelled examples of shapes that already happened, chosen because they teach well.
  • Where Chartle shows a statistic about a pattern, it is a measurement taken across a labelled dataset under a stated test. It describes the past. It is not a prediction, and it does not tell you what any pattern will do next.
  • Recognising a pattern is not the same as knowing what a market will do. Chartle teaches the first and makes no claim about the second.
  • Trading and investing carry the risk of losing money, including more than you put in with some instruments. Any decision you take is yours alone, and you are responsible for it.

If you need advice, consult a licensed financial adviser who knows your situation. Buffalo is not licensed to give investment advice and does not purport to give it.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Chartle on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

We keep every other right. Chartle, its name, its logo, its interface, its lesson text, its pattern catalogue, the way its examples are selected and annotated, and the software itself are ours or our licensors', and are protected by intellectual property law.

Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you.

4. What you may not do

You may not:

  • copy, modify, translate or create derivative works from Chartle, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, or attempt to derive its source code;
  • rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense or otherwise make Chartle available to anyone else;
  • remove or obscure any notice of ownership;
  • extract, scrape or systematically copy the lesson content, the pattern catalogue or the example charts, whether for a competing product, for a dataset, or to train a model;
  • interfere with the app's operation, bypass its paid features, or tamper with how progress, streaks or purchases are recorded;
  • use Chartle in a way that breaks any law that applies to you, or that presents Chartle's output as licensed financial advice to another person.

5. Accounts

Chartle has no accounts. There is nothing to register, no password to keep, and no credential to lose. Your progress lives on your device and is tied to an anonymous identifier created by the app.

One consequence is worth stating plainly: if you delete Chartle, your progress goes with it. It is not held in an account we can restore. Reinstalling gives you a fresh start.

6. Subscriptions

Chartle is free to use for a daily session. A paid subscription, Chartle Pro, removes that limit and opens the rest of what the app offers.

Price and billing period. These are shown to you in the app before you buy, and again on the store's confirmation screen. They vary by country and may change over time; the store always shows the amount that will be charged before you confirm.

Payment. The purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, under your store account. We do not process the payment and we never receive your card details.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

Managing and cancelling. You cancel through your store account — in Settings on iOS, or in the Play Store on Android — not through us, because we have no ability to cancel it for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription automatically when it ends, unless you cancel before then. Whether a trial is available depends on your store account and its history; an account that has already used a trial for Chartle will not be offered another. Where the app can, it will remind you before a trial ends, but you should not rely on that reminder: notification permission, device settings and the operating system all sit between us and its delivery, and cancelling in time remains your responsibility.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, and we cannot issue them. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants you a statutory withdrawal right, that right is unaffected by this section.

7. Changes to the app

We develop Chartle continuously. Features may be added, changed or removed, and lesson content and the pattern catalogue may be revised as the underlying dataset grows.

We may require you to update to a supported version to keep using the app, and we may stop supporting older versions or operating systems.

We may also stop offering Chartle altogether. If we do, and you hold a subscription that extends beyond that point, you may seek a refund of the unused portion through the store that charged you.

8. Third parties

Chartle relies on services operated by others: Apple and Google as app stores and payment processors, Google Firebase for infrastructure and diagnostics, RevenueCat for subscription management, and analytics and attribution providers. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for those services' availability or for their own terms, which you accept separately with them.

9. Availability

We do not promise that Chartle will be available without interruption or free of errors. It depends on your device, your operating system, your network connection and the third parties above, and any of them can fail.

10. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting Chartle from your devices.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if you tamper with the app's operation or its purchase mechanism, or where we are required to do so by law. Where the breach is minor and can be put right, we will normally tell you first.

Ending this agreement does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through a store; you must cancel that through your store account.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chartle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the lesson content, statistics, pattern descriptions or example charts are free of error, nor that they will be useful for any purpose you have in mind.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is so, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Buffalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of Chartle.

In particular, we are not liable for any trading or investment loss. Chartle teaches pattern recognition; it does not tell you what to do with your money, and any decision you take after using it is yours.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for Chartle in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Buffalo against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your use of Chartle in breach of these terms or of any law that applies to you, including any claim brought by a third party who acted on something you presented to them as advice.

14. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, strike, failure of a public telecommunications network, government action, or the failure of a third-party service on which Chartle depends.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul, Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and it does not prevent you from applying to your local consumer arbitration committee or consumer court where that route is available to you.

16. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one published at chartleapp.com/terms, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chartle after that means you accept the revised terms.

17. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable provision is applied to the greatest extent permitted.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding Chartle, and replace anything said or written before.
